Ship Management (Superintendent)
Job description

To plan and execute periodic inspections of ship’s hull, machinery, and associated equipment to managed ships entrusted to us.
In addition, to support the maintenance work performed by the crew on board, and also provide emergency response in the event of a breakdown or accident

  • Check the current situation through visiting ships
  • Trouble shooting in case of equipment failure
  • Estimate of spare parts / ship supplies
  • Attend and supervises Dry-Docking, repairs and conversion works.
Employment status
Full-time employee (probationary period is 3 months)
※There is no change in working conditions during the probationary period.

Headquarters (Yokohama)
Educational background
  • Graduates of commercial shipping schools or maritime universities
  • Graduates of engineering universities
Required experience

More than 5 years onboard international sailing experience as:
A) Master Mariner or Chief Officer
B) Chief Engineer or 1st Assistant Engineer.

  • Experienced Classification Surveyor from IACS member society, with an auditor experience is preferable.
  • Applicant should be able to read and write English.
Age limit
None. However, you must be healthy and physically fit for stressful works during dry docking. ship repairs and conversion.
Competitive salary. We will consider the number of years of work experience in deciding the basic salary.
